eBay Alerts Are Now Available in Classifindr

eBay alerts are now available in Classifindr. You can add eBay to a focused search, keep it alongside the other marketplaces you monitor, and receive useful fixed-price listing alerts through the channels that fit your buying routine.

The goal is simple: spend less time repeating the same searches and more time reviewing listings that fit what you want.

What you can monitor

Classifindr currently supports fixed-price eBay listings. Searches can use the buying details that matter most, including:

• item and model keywords
• supported location and distance
• minimum and maximum price
• available category choices
• Any, New, or Used condition
• include and exclude rules for recurring noise

This works well for products where the exact model, version, condition, or price makes a clear difference. Good starting points include phones, laptops, cameras, gaming consoles, power tools, collectibles, car parts, and specialist equipment.

For example, an iPhone search may need the model and storage size while excluding cases, covers, empty boxes, and parts. A PlayStation 5 search may need to separate complete consoles from controllers, stands, games, and repair listings. A tool search may need the model number, battery platform, and condition.

Start with the criteria you would use when deciding whether to open a listing. Add stricter rules only after you see the wording sellers actually use.

Where eBay alerts are available

eBay monitoring is currently available in:

• United States
• United Kingdom
• Australia
• Canada
• Germany
• France
• Italy
• Poland
• Switzerland
• Belgium

Choose a supported location that fits the search. If eBay is unavailable for a location, Classifindr disables that source for the search and it uses 0 units. Other selected marketplaces can continue as normal.

Use eBay by itself or with other marketplaces

An eBay-only search is useful when you want eBay-specific choices such as category, condition, or a supported eBay search URL you have already prepared.

A multi-marketplace search is useful when the same item, budget, and location make sense across several sources. An Australian buyer might watch eBay alongside Depop, Vinted, Facebook Marketplace, and Gumtree AU when the item fits those sources. A Canadian buyer might combine eBay with Depop, Poshmark, Facebook Marketplace, or Kijiji. Buyers in the United States might add eBay to Mercari, Depop, Poshmark, Vinted, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, or OfferUp searches.

The best option depends on the item. Use one marketplace when its filters are important. Use several when the same broad buying goal works across them.

Choose alerts that fit the search

Each Classifindr search can be checked every 1, 10, or 60 minutes.

• Use every 1 minute for a narrow, high-priority item you are ready to review.
• Use every 10 minutes for an active buying search.
• Use every 60 minutes for broad price watching or less urgent items.

Alerts can go to mobile push, Telegram, Discord, email, Web Push, or webhooks. A specific item may belong on mobile push, while a broad collector or price-watch search may be easier to review by email or Web Push.

Faster is not always better. A clear search with a suitable channel is usually more useful than a broad search that interrupts you with loosely related listings.

Native saved searches still have a place

eBay also offers native saved searches and advanced search controls. Those tools can be a good fit when you only need a simple eBay reminder.

Classifindr is useful when you want eBay in the same alert workflow as other marketplaces, need more control over recurring unwanted wording, or want to choose different alert channels and check speeds for different searches.

You do not have to choose one approach for every item. Keep a native saved search when it already works well, and use Classifindr for searches that benefit from a more focused review routine.

When an alert looks useful, open the original eBay listing to confirm availability, condition, delivery or collection options, seller details, and the final price before acting.
